After A Long Vacation

.

Yes, I have been away for a long time. Some people were so happy to know that I might not recount my stories that they contributed to a little fund to help me to stay away.

But the contributions are drying up.

Here is the picture I have in front of me.

I don't know whether this is good for me. I wonder what is happening ...

The Sunday Times Catches Up ...

Yesterday, the London Sunday Times published stories here and here which will be familiar to readers of my blog. It tells about Amai's purchases in Hong Kong and Vietnam, and about her Look East policy of externalising forex for investment in Far Eastern countries.

I wonder if the journalists have been reading this blog! They report Amai's purchase of sculture from Vietnam, which I first reported here, and in my last post here I told you of both the bags of money being taken from the country and that Amai's Thai friend Dr Taveesin had set up a company to hide the contraband from Zimbabwe.

When I told you that I was verifying firther information, I was thinking about something I received about a man called Jeffrey Ng, a man with a Vietnamese name who lives in Singapore. He is involved in seemingly legitimate supplies of computers to Zimbabwean schools, but secretly is the man who organises the return of Amai's purchases of luxury goods, and sometimes buys her "little" presents.

Here is another titbit for the journalists if they are still reading. They had some good information about Enock Kamushinda but missed the fact that he benefited significantly from the mechanisation programme, because Joseph Made ensured that his friend would profit from it. In return, he continues to help friends of the Mugabes through MetBank, which was mentioned in the Sunday Times, but also through his Namibian companies Proffex and Crown Finance.

A New Revelation

.

I have not posted for a few days because I have been checking out information that people sent to the e-mail address in my profile. If you think some of my stories have been interesting then wait until you hear this.

I have written before about Amai's Look East policy. her transfer of forex to the Far East has brought her friendship, especially with people from the Far East who are part of the root of all evil: the love of money. One of these is a Thai lady: "Doctor" Taveesin, or Joy, as she is known to her friends. Our old friend "Doctor" Gideon Gono is the third member of this triangle. He enables Amai to externalise forex, and Taveesin hides it for her in Thailand.

This "contraband" money has used to set up at least one company, called Royal Asia Products, and probably some others as well. If you know more, let me know.

The other message I have been able to check out concerns another of Gono's friends, Dr Mahmood, who appeared on the US Sanctions list at the end of 2008. (He is a real Doctor by the way, a Doctor of Medicine: given the state of hospitals in our country what follows might make you annoyed.) Mahmood, who is also friendly with Constantine Chiwenga, is the "forex mule": he is the man who carries the bags of forex out of the country for senior people and deposits it in banks in Kuala Lumpur. It is for this reason that Mahmood suddenly appeared on the Sanctions list.

Malaysia seems to be a key place for our leadership's money. I am trying to check on some more stories I have been told.

You Don't Bring Me Flowers Any More

.

Everybody knows that James Makamba is a big man. Not everybody knows that he is a well-travelled big man.
.

Some of my fellow bloggers and lots of journalists were amused to find that Amai had "hit the press" last Sunday because of the way she hit a photographer. But part of the joke is on them. They all thought that she was angry to be photographed in a luxury shopping centre in Hong Kong.

Perhaps she was worried about something else.

Once upon a time Amai and Makamba were united in their love for flowers. He grew them on his farm, and she visited it. She loved the size of his beds. Some thought that she was a bit too keen, and Makamba seemed was weeded out - weeded out of the country in fact, but not until he had been tried for forex irregularities.
.
Imagine how Mudhara would feel if he discovered that Makamba was in Hong Kong at the same time as Amai? Would he accept that this was just two garden-lovers meeting to discuss flowers? Would he think that they were meeting to compare notes on successful externalisation of forex? Or might he begin to think that a pattern was developing?

More About The News You Are Not Reading In The Herald

.
I had a visit from a friend last night who told me an interesting story. When the Army refused to accept Zimbabwean dollars this week, Constantine Chiwenga went to Gideon Gono and demanded US dollars. But all of the forex Gono controls is for his friends.

So Gideon is hoping that Lev Leviev will make an agreement to buy diamonds this week so that Gono has some forex to give to Chiwenga.

This is also one reason why Mugabe and Tsvangarai did not agree. If the Army is not going to mutiny, Mugabe is not scared of anything. And if the amount Lev Leviev has promised is as much as my friend believes (more than 100 million USD), then ZPF will be happily in charge for a long time: that is, until our creditors find out about the deal.

The News You Are Not Reading In The Herald

.

And the news you are not reading in New Zimbabwe either.

It was here that you read for the first time that our country is running out of forex and that is why Tsvangirai and Mugabe had to meet today.

Today I am telling you that a man you have never heard of called Lev Leviev is in Zimbabwe, and is staying in the Sheraton Rainbow Towers Hotel. Why should you be interested in this unknown man. It is because he is a multi billionaire in US Dollars. Look here to find out more.

Why is he here at this time? Why is he talking to my favourite Bank Governor, Gideon Gono? If the Chiadzwa diamond field is up for sale, then for how much, and who will get the money? And might this be the deal that persuades "people" that Hong Kong is the place for them?

If you see this man, ask him for some of the forex he has promised to Gideon.

Home Again

I have come home from Pretoria where there is only one story. Why is it so important that Mugabe and Tsvangirai should meet on Monday?
.
Is it because they want to finally settle their dispute peacefully and agree on a Government of National Unity to bring peace and reconciliation to Zimbabwe?
.
No.
.
Is it because Morgan is going to surrender to Bob (or Bob to Morgan)?
.
No.
.
Is it because the supply of forex is now so bad that Gideon Gono is now telling major ministries and major ministers that there is no forex left, either for them personally or for their ministries?
.
Yes.
.
Is it because of fear that bubonic plague takes hold in our country before the cholera is cured?
.
Yes.
.
What will these two men decide on Monday? And who will benefit from their decisions?
.
Will Kgalema Motlanthe show leadership where none has been shown by SADC previously?
.
Who knows?

Happy New Year!

A happy 2009 to all of you who read this.

A happy and prosperous 2009 would be a good wish for you, but there is only one man who can wish that and make sure the wish comes true.

He has wished Amai a happy and prosperous new year several times already.

And she is going to have a happy 2009.

At least, she will if Gideon remains in charge of the purse strings.

But she will have a prosperous 2009 whatever happens.

Zimbabwe To Invade Botswana? The Far East?

.

Not for the first time, Denford Magora has made a prophecy that Comrade Bob is about to invade Botswana. And Jestina Mukoko is paying the price of being openly associated with Morgan Tsvangirai.

The chaos and lawlessness increase. Dark times are becoming darker.

But do not worry. Amai and Bob have an increasing numbers of roofs under which they can lay their heads. And estate agents all over South East Asia are making big profits.

From The Book Of Robert

Robert 25: 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a Far Eastern country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one realised that it was USD 10 Million and he went and flew to Switzerland and deposited his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was was exceeding clever, and went and hid thy money in the Union Bank of Switzerland: lo, there thou hast that is thine, but if you punish me, you will not have the money, nor yet will Amai.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou hast put my money to the exchangers, that at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 So I am happy not to take the talent from you, that you give it unto Amai which hath ten million talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the good and faihtful servants into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And cholera. And malnutrition. But Zimbabwe is mine.
